How ranks impact you
As you file flights with the airline, you accrue hours, which qualify you to raise in rank.
Your rank has several consequences:
Aircraft types are tied to rank - so your rank determines which aircraft you can choose
Flights may be tied to aircraft types - so flights available to you may be restricted indirectly by your rank
Not all flights are tied to rank (tours are usually open to all)
